Sexual Harassment Workplace Policy Poster
Sexual harassment at work is a form of unlawful sex discrimination. The law describes sexual harassment as, unwelcome verbal, visual, non-verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature or based on someone’s sex that is severe or pervasive and affects working conditions or creates a hostile work environment.
Sexual harassment in the workplace is prohibited under the labour laws in South Africa, and the Labour Relations Act contains a code of good practice on the handling of sexual harassment cases in the workplace. This poster covers that code.
